TOP 10 MOST ENDANGERED CREATURES |
This list includes both animals and plants.
1.) South China Tiger- These tigers have less than 20 in number. Probably extinct in the wild.
2.) Hainan Black Crested Gibbon- There are only 20 hainan black crested gibbons on this planet. Highly endangered species.
3.) Eastern Black Crested Gibbon- With only 50 in number or might be even less.
4.) Iberian Lynx- The IUCN has listed the Iberian lynx as critically endangered. This cat once roamed all over Spain and Portugal, but is now only found in only in mountainous regions. There are hardly a hundred individuals left in the wild.
5.) Asiatic Lion- With only less than 150 Asiatic lions on the planet, it is found in the smallest part of the Ghir Forest regions in India.
6.) Georgia Aster- This highly endangered flowering plant has only 100 on the planet. It is extremely rare and its flower is beautiful. It is highly vulnerable to climate change, global warming and disease.
7.) Siberian Tiger- This tiger is the 2nd largest big cat. It is only 200 in number.
8.) Gharial- Also called the gavial or the Indian gavial or Indian gharial this species is critically endangered.
9.) Giant Panda- This creature once roamed almost all the forests of China. Now it has been hunted so much and has become critically endangered.
10.) Javan Rhinoceros- The most endangered rhinoceros has only 250 in number.

Nice write-up. The way we are going human species is also an endangered species. High time we realize that we can’t be the sole inhabitantants without the plants and animals.
